An Open Letter To All MLM Leaders

I was thinking about a comment made by Victoria and Gary Affron on my previous post.
Hey Paul,
This might just be the 1st time we’ve posted here on your site and long overdue friend!
We love your post about the 7 reasons you love Global Pro’s and best of everything to you both __you and Global Pro’s!
It’s a great thing when two distributors from different companies can build a friendship without all the fighting and nanny, nanny boo, boo’s, ha!
It just goes to the root of being professionals and hey __anything we can personally do to help out in any way, please don’t hestitate to let us know!
You just never know __maybe someone won’t like our biz so we’ll recommend yours and on the other hand __the same thing around!
Now THAT is what we call friendship and business in MOTION! Just like buying a car __if you don’t like what you see on one car lot visit another, ha!

Now truth be told we are both working for competing companies in the same mlm wireless niche. So what, we are still friends and colleagues.
Let me explain…
Internet marketers have discovered that by working together and setting up joint ventures, they can actually succeed faster, than they can working on their own. We can do the same in the network marketing arena.
The network marking industry is built on relationships. It is strengthened by friendships. Think about it. People already buy your product, or join your business, because they know like and trust you. As humans we tend to buy our products and services from people we like and trust. No one will ever buy from you if you betray that trust. If they dislike you they will do business with someone else. That is Salesmanship 101.
So this is where we come in as leaders.
As much as we all like to think we have a crystal ball that allows us to peer into the future and see our success with the company we are currently with, the reality is we don’t. Nor can we effectively predict the future success of other companies (as much as we like to). Ours is a volatile industry, constantly undergoing change. The one constant I have seen, is the negative attitude often displayed to other companies. I am guilty of it. I truly believe that YooTalk powered by Global Pros, is the best opportunity available today for me. It is not necessarily the best one for you. I have to accept that, and your decision to do what you believe is best for you.
To try to criticize you, bad mouth you, knock you down, and ridicule you for your choice is both immature and bad business. That is because one day, either you or I may be looking for a new opportunity that is working, for ourselves and our downlines. We would never consider one another’s opportunity, if we know, dislike and distrust one another. It just wouldn’t happen. I am sure you will agree.
So here is my proposal.
Let’s show our downlines what true leadership is. Let’s lead by example, and bring an even higher level of professionalism to our industry. Instead of banging heads and locking horns, let’ s create friend
ships instead. Let’s get to know one another and our companies. Not to recruit one another, but to learn and grow from each other. I have discovered long ago that knowledge eliminates prejudice. It is time to eliminate the opportunity prejudice that runs rampant in this industry. Let’s be friends, let’s grow together, let’s succeed together.

Daily exchanges of ideas and NOT necessarily for one or the other but FOR ALL and inclusive of being able to play golf together and NOT argue over whose company leaders are better golfers, right?
Just enjoy the Steak Dinner after (ha) and then go home tired, crash and get started all over again tomorrow __that’s called LIFE in business!
After all in a REAL ” brick and mortar ” or corporate business while having lunch on the 27th floor together daily __isn’t that what all good business friends and competitors do anyway?
What a GREAT Concept and Method of BEING and HELPING one another __FORGET __ about ” who has this and that ” and who SAYS better. BELIEVE IN YOURSELF and WHAT YOU CAN DO __help others if they ask you and DO your best to always offer as WE know YOU DO – we do, many others and Troy do!
Let’s FINISH GOOD for the end of 2010 and BEGIN 2011 with the BIGGEST BOOM and FIREWORKS for Success EVER with all and for all!

Paul, There are plenty of people to go around for everyone. To criticize others is a sign of weakness and insecurity. If we will just take care of ourselves and not worry about what our competition is doing, we can be positive people and leaders.
